SWAN is a registered charity founded in 2010 by Saiqa Ali. With the help of some female friends in South London, our objective is to support the suffering people of our community.
SWAN and its board are made of women from the community. With over 90 volunteers who work hard for our causes. The SWAN Hub located in Croydon helps people with clothes, food, and other essential items. It is open Monday to Thursday from 11 am to 1 pm. SWAN runs weekly and global projects to support our community’s people all around the world.
SWAN offers a weekly bread project that provides bread to refugees abroad. SWAN also operates a weekly Foodbank and Soup Kitchen and SWAN 500; which is a community initiative to attract the attention of more people so that they can become a part of something big.
