Primary Healthcare Clinic in North Gaza

A brand new clinic has been built in North Gaza (WATCH VIDEO HERE) . In order to be fully functional and start seeing patients we need to get it equipped with the essentials including medicines. Clean water is to be provided for those who attend to take their medicines and solar power to run the building.

As a primary health care centre- areas of focus will be:
- pregnancy care
- children
- General medical
- physiotherapy and rehabilitation
- elderly care
- chronic diseases
- cancer care support

Why is this clinic is vital?

Gaza is home to over 2.3 million people. Nearly 47% are children, and more than 50% are women (UNICEF). Years of blockade, war, and poverty have devastated Gaza’s healthcare system — and women and children bear the brunt.

- 🏥 100% of healthcare facilities have been damaged or destroyed *(Palestinian Ministry of Health)*

- 🚫 1 in 4 women avoid seeking care due to cost, stigma, or transport *(UN Women)*

- 👶 Neonatal mortality is 19 per 1,000 live births, mostly preventable *(WHO)*

- 🍞 33% of children suffer stunted growth from malnutrition *(UNRWA)*

- 💔 54% of women report severe anxiety or depression *(UN Women)*

These are not just statistics — they represent **mothers giving birth without care, babies suffering from infection, and families facing trauma alone**.

We urgently need funds for:

📈 £80 – Glucose monitor

🩺 £100 – Stethoscope or blood pressure machine

❤️‍🩹 £1,000 – AED/resuscitation equipment

🔬 £5,000 – Autoclave (critical for sterilisation)

This clinic provides an important **lifeline** in North Gaza. Though services are still being scaled up, our focus includes:

💕 **Maternity & Neonatal Care** – Antenatal check-ups, safe delivery, postnatal care, emergency obstetrics
💕 **General and Emergency Healthcare** – Medical assessments, treatment, urgent care
💕 **Breastfeeding Support** – Nutrition advice and lactation consultations
💕 **Mental Health Support** – Counselling and psychosocial services for women and children
💕 **Community Health Outreach** – Awareness sessions on hygiene, nutrition, and preventative care

**More services will be available as the clinic becomes fully equipped.**
