When SWAN was created by Saiqa Ali, she had a mission to help others in the UK and abroad. When she started a food bank, she saw opportunity to create a soup kitchen in London, then a second and a third. A sad necessity in these times.
Work did not stop there. With conflict, poverty, refugees and homelessness ain all corners of the world, SWAN endeavors to do all it can to make a difference through partnerships to have people fed, their dilapidated homes renovated and a chance to start a new life through empowerment projects. We are constantly creating new ways to help.

Palestine
In Gaza, Palestine we deliver monthly food packs to families struggling for basic necessities dependent on the situation.

We have a few ongoing projects in Pakistan in collaboration with GHRF that we fund weekly and monthly. We are always looking for new ways to help and different areas we can work in.

In Kabul, Afghanistan we have a daily bread project where we ensure hundreds receive bread to eat every day.

During the month of Ramadan, we have a hot meal and water program in Sri Lanka

During the month of Ramadan, we have an orphanage program to build safe home and school for Orphan girls in Chad

Bangladesh
We support Rohingya refugees in Bangladesh by providing them with an education in coding. This has been featured in the World Economics Forum.

SWAN proudly launched a new monthly initiative in partnership with the Imam Development Program to support the Darul Qur’aan Madrassah Orphanage in Malawi.
