Cameroon | Planting Hope Through Inga Trees and Sustainable Food
In the Lolo Refugee Camp in Cameroon, home to more than 12,000 refugees, families are facing growing food insecurity. Over the past two years, WFP food assistance has been severely reduced due to global budget shortfalls, leaving vulnerable households struggling to meet even their most basic nutritional needs.SWAN, through the UDES Solar, Water and Aquaculture Project, is working to change this reality — not with short-term aid alone, but with a self-sustaining, dignified solution rooted in food production, livelihoods, and environmental restoration.
