2. Aafia is only five years old, yet she has already endured profound loss. The ongoing war not only took her father but left her without a home. Now, she lives in her grandfather’s fragile and unfit house, caught between rubble and uncertainty. Her tender age is burdened with hardship—where her days should be filled with play and learning, they are instead consumed by need and survival. Aafia shows signs of malnutrition and delayed cognitive development due to prolonged food shortages. She urgently needs health assessments, medical care, and nutritional supplements to restore her well-being. The child requires consistent access to nutritious meals and child-specific supplements. Her current shelter—her grandfather’s structurally unsafe house—is far from suitable for any child and increases her vulnerability.
